Vinh Long- Vietnam

Today I will introduce my hometown in Vietnam, Vinh Long city. Vinh Long is a small city, located in the South of Vietnam, Mekong Delta.. It takes about 3 hours of driving from Saigon to Vinh Long. It is a peaceful city with friendly people. People always go to Vinh Long to relax and enjoy the countryside lifestyle.
Vinh Long is famous for tropical fruits: rambutan, longan, mango, jack fruit and durian, however most of them are blooming in summer time only. There are many rivers across the city but two main large rivers are Co Chien and Hau Giang. These rivers fertile the land with rich alluvial soils. Therefore agriculture plays important role in economy.
There are some attractive places in Vinh Long such as: Văn Thánh Miếu Pagoda, a colorful 19th-century Chinese temple, Cái Bè floating market and villages and orchards on the river's many islets, including Bình Hòa Phước and An Binh. Boats are important transportation in Vinh Long.
Foods are simple with Southern style of cooking but they are delicious. My favorite dishes are from fresh water fishes.
You will find peace when you come to my hometown. I love it so much.

Thailand

I went to Thailand 10 years ago, in 2006. It only take about couple hours from Saigon to Bangkok, capital city of Thailand. Because I went on a tour I mainly spent time in Bangkok. I hope I can comeback someday to explore all places in this video clips. I love outside activities.
In Bangkok, I enjoyed historic places: golden and silver temples, royal palace. There are many tropical fruits like in Vietnam but they are better. Foods at the night markets are really good. I tired deep fried insects but I didn't like it.

Nha Trang- Vietnam

This time we will visit Nha Trang, a famous city with beautiful beaches. Nha Trang is a coastal resort city in southern Vietnam. From Sai Gon you can take 2 hours flight or you can hop on a mini bus for 8 hours driving. I love to go there by bus so that I can see beautiful scenes along the way. Nha Trang is known for its beaches, scuba diving, offshore islands five star hotels and delicious seafood restaurants. 
Vinpearl Resort has been recently opened in Nha Trang. It is the most attractive place for tourists. It has water park, amusement park and a golf couse. You can take cable cars cross over to Hòn Tre island and the Vinpearl Resort.
I love to hop on a small boat to visit small islands and go to street market at night. Street foods are yummy.
One more thing, you definitely have to try fish noodle soup when you are in Nha Trang. It is the most famous food for this city.

Da Lat - Vietnam

Now we go back to Vietnam. We will visit Da Lat, one of the most famous cities in VietNam. Da Lat city is known for its beautiful, romantic mountain view, comfortable weather and fresh vegetables. People usually choose Da Lat as a place for their summer vacation because it is affordable and it is not too far from Saigon.

Lake Erie- Ohio

My sister lives in Cleveland, Ohio, so I have been there many times. Every time I go there, I like to go visit lake Erie because it takes only 30 minutes from my sister's house. Lake Erie is one of Five Great Lakes in Northern America. It is famous because there are many great outdoor activities for the whole family.
However, I like to go there in summer, the weather is nice. Winter is too cold for me.

Niagara Fall

It takes only 3 to 4 hours from Buffalo- New York to the US- Canada border, and Niagara Fall is right at the border.This is a wonderful place with the spectacular view of the water falls. I have been there twice but I will come back more to enjoy the beauty of nature. I love Chinese foods in Toronto, they are really yummy and different.

Hoover dam

Today, we will explore one of the biggest dam in the world, Hoover dam. Hoover dam locates between Nevada and Arizona. It was built during the Great Depression, and it was named after President Herbert Hoover. It is a massive structure which costs thousand workers and hundred lives.
Visiting Hoover dam, I love to watch videos about its history, why and how people decided to build a giant dam in the middle of nowhere.

Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay is one of the most beautiful place in the world which is recognized by UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is in Northern Vietnam, about 170km east of Hanoi.
"Ha Long" means descending dragon in Vietnamese. This name is originated from our ancestors who believed that we, Vietnamese people, are the children of dragon. Ha Long Bay is the most beautiful bay in Vietnam with thousand of limestone island covered by rain-forests. There are a lot of outdoor activities at Ha Long Bay such as sight seeing, scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking.
I have been there twice. I love to hop on a small boat and going around small islands. It is so beautiful and peaceful. I love to eat sea foods at the bay because they are fresh, delicious and the price is very reasonable.

Ha Noi

Today, we go visit Ha Noi, the capital city of Vietnam. I have only been there once. I want to comeback but I don't have any chance yet. Ha Noi has changed a lot.  After watching this video, I have learn more about Ha Noi.
Ha Noi is the largest city in Vietnam with the harmony of  old and modern architectures. In contrast with Saigon, Ha Noi has many historic places that are very famous to the world as well as Vietnamese culture and history. Street foods are really delicious, but for me, foods are better in Saigon.

Wonderful places in Vietnam

I was born and raised in Viet Nam. I left my country 14 years ago. Although I came back every year to visit, I still can not explore all the wonderful places. This is a short video about the busiest market in Viet Nam that I want to introduce to you. Hope you will enjoy the video
