Hoover dam

Today, we will explore one of the biggest dam in the world, Hoover dam. Hoover dam locates between Nevada and Arizona. It was built during the Great Depression, and it was named after President Herbert Hoover. It is a massive structure which costs thousand workers and hundred lives.
Visiting Hoover dam, I love to watch videos about its history, why and how people decided to build a giant dam in the middle of nowhere.
I hope you will enjoy this clip.

  3. I have been able to visit this historical landmark twice. Each experience provided knowledge and a renewed sense of family value. My first visit was taken with my fiancé and his grandfather. Had we known it would be our last time on a family trip with him, we may have taken a few more photos, but such is life and we are reminded of the time and moments spent with our loved ones. Mahalo for sharing about the Hoover Dam, as it allowed time for me to reflect on the things we hold true to our values and heart.

  4. Hi Phuong!

I've also been to Hoover Dam a couple summers ago, and it was definitely a magnificent sight to see! I thought it was so cool that the dam crosses the boarder between both Nevada and Arizona.
